ABOUT:

This is a release from my personal collection that I have enjoyed wearing for several years now. I purchased it in England - I just found the setting so unique. There is a line of 5 old European cut diamonds down the center with old single cut diamonds in a curved halo to the right and left. The setting is lovely with an 18k yellow gold shank and the ring face topped in platinum as was customary for the period to set diamonds in a white metal. As an added design element, there are engraved details to the gallery or vertical edge underneath the ring face. Milgrain details surround the five center diamonds.

No hallmarks remain but tests at 18k gold.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:

The largest center diamond is about 3mm and the other diamonds are 2.2mm to 2.7mm. The fourteen single cut diamonds on the side are 0.7 to 1.5mm each.

Size 6 1/4, the ring face is 17mm north to south, 8mm east west, 3.2mm tall of the finger. It weighs 2.85 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds with some natural inclusions. Nothing dark or glaring but some frosty spots. No damage to any of the stones. It has a lovely sparkle.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )

But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
