ABOUT:
Color, geometry and sparkle. This Barcelona find has a beautiful footprint on the finger offering sparkle, geometry and that pop of green color. It is somehow dainty but also dramatic at the same time with the skinny ring face and the combination of stones.

Found in Spain but no hallmarks remain. Crafted in 18k gold tested. At the center is a line of five natural emeralds which is surrounded by a halo of old mine cut diamonds, 16 diamonds in all.

Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 7 3/4 on the mandrel. Weighs 2.6 Grams.

Ring face is 18x7mm.

Exact depth and thereby carat weight of the diamonds is unknown as I would never remove them from the setting. Most are in the 2 to 2.3mm range with the ends stones smaller, around 1.7mm. I am getting over half a carat total weight in diamonds.

The largest center emerald is about 3.2mm to give you an idea of scale.

IMPORTANT. CONDITION NOTES:

This antique piece shows signs of age with one emerald being a replacement. Because the others were custom cut to fit the setting, some triangular or trapezoidal, the replacement stone can be picked out because it is round. It is the smallest end stone though so it is not super glaring, although it reads richer in color in direct sun. The center emerald is excellent but the other three original to the ring have nibbles and nicks and tiny chips. They still fill their bezel spaces and appear complete to the eye. Typical antique diamonds with some slightly warm hues and frosty natural inclusions, under magnification some are quite frosty throughout but to the eye they have a nice sparkle and are overall well matching.

The shank is on the dainty side and feels a bit blunt because it is thinner. It is 0.8mm deep and 1mm wide so that would be something to discuss with your jeweler if sizing is desired to determine their comfort level.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
