ABOUT:

French antique ring with a wonderful color and sparkle. At the center of the swirl design are alternating rose cut diamonds and green emeralds. This is surrounded by additional rose cuts. The piece has beautiful movement. Antique piece from the late 1800s Belle Epoque period.

Smaller size, would be a wonderful pinky ring.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 4 3/4. It weighs 3.6 grams. Ring face is 17mm north to south. The stones are 1.5 to 2.5mm with a few smaller diamonds at the edges of the shank where they are inset.

CONDITION NOTES:

A worn prong here or there but all the stones are secure. I always recommend keeping an eye on the prongs, especially for pieces with a lot of small stones in original antique condition where the wear is expected. Some nicks to the emeralds, the center has a small chip and some abrasions but appears complete to the eye in the setting.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
