NOTE that the "divot" to the band on the side of the shank is Not damage - it is the French hallmark strike for platinum so the piece is not damaged but intentionally marked on the vertical edge.

Wonderful old cut diamond full eternity band in platinum. I love the ornate engraved detail on the vertical edges of each side. This French antique piece is set with about .8 carat of old single cut diamonds. Sturdy hand feel, nice sparkle all around. These are always super popular.

Some of these old single cuts have little culets, these stones are antique and from the same period as other antique diamonds. These have less facets, but still being old hand cuts with the faceting of course more freeform and different from the modern machine cut single cuts we see today.

The perfect stacker, and also a beautiful worn alone.

Found in France. The French hallmark strike for platinum is partial but I've seen it a million times so it is recognizable to me.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 5 1/4, a little over, typically not sizable. The band is 3mm wide north south with a depth of about 1.8mm. It weighs 3.4g
Each of the 26 diamonds is about 2mm. Varying depths to the stones. I would never remove them to ascertain exact carat weight but estimated around .8ctw in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds, some eye clean, others with faint natural inclusions, some a bit frosty, but the stones aren't that big so it is not glaringly eye visible. A few with warm hues. Nice sparkle and sturdy shank. The prongs actually look quite good although I always recommend gentler wear on antique pieces with so many stones set with little bead prongs, and with eternities having part of the ring come into contact with surfaces on the palm side of the hand, it's something to keep an eye on. Due to this palm of the hand contact a few stones have some nicks and nibbles but none are cracked or have any eye visible loss.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
