ABOUT:

Every time I put this one on, I start singing "I feel prettyyyyyyy, oh so prettyyyyyy" (from West Side Story, the original one).

It's just really unique and "extra" in its design, I've not had any like it in my decade plus of selling. Long and skinny with wavy flared sides that come to point, a nice bezel set old mine cut at the center and then the added diamond encrusted details at the shoulders with smaller old mine cuts, and in those butterfly or leaf designs set with rose cuts. I like wearing this one as a power pointer ring (shoutout to my instagram friend who I just learned that term from : )
It's just really visually impressive measuring 1.1 inch on the finger, but with the openwork and ornate details, somehow still remaining quite ornate and delicate.

This French Belle Epoque piece was purchased in France. No hallmarks remain which is typical for French pieces due to their location of the hallmark in an area where sizing and wear occurs.

Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 7.
Weight: a sturdy 4.1grams

Ring face north south: 28x8mm

Exact carat weight is unknown as depths vary and I would not remove them. The center stone is 3.8mm and about 1/4 carat. The old mines at the shoulders are 1.5 to 1.8mm and the rose cuts about 1.5mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds with faint frosty specks and natural inclusions. I don't see any glaring carbon. No damage but the rose cuts look typical as well with some frosty and irregular edges being small and rough cut, they tend to always look this way. This one needs gentler wear because it legit comes to a point on each end so if it catches on something it will be blunt against the finger (the things we do for fashion / love).

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
