I am back from my inventory trips to Europe and selling an assortment of vintage to antique hand picked pieces which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
Beautiful ornate antique chain to layer or wear alone. Each little link has a circular disk at the top to to catch the light and shimmer, with ball rivets on each side to add a lovely texture and a great antique look. This piece is crafted in 18k solid gold, which has a rich warm antique patina that reads rosy with a buttery glow. I just love the look of antique gold like this! The alligator clasp at the back is textured with stripes. This piece glows, shimmers and catches the light beautifully.
French antique piece It has several hallmarks on the clasp, two for French 18k gold and then a goldsmith stamp. Antique boxes / any additional items in displays in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 13.1g. Stretched end to end it's 18 1/2 inches. The chain links are 5.5mm wide. The thickness / depth of each link is about 2.3mm.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Beautiful rich patina that has warmed the 18k gold - it has a beautiful glow. There is one ball rivet missing in one spot, maybe 3 inches from the clasp on one side. Some signs of it being worn from age, where there is a very slight / gradual curve, or a ripple here or there but still very stable. Some surface wear but this is only seen if you study it up close due to the mirrored finish. To the eye and while wearing it as an amazing color and shine, like I said it truly glows. There are no dark or colored spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings. Impactful worn alone but also layers well with other pieces.
