ABOUT:

Attention grabbing antique Art Nouveau silver plate cuff bracelet in the form of a figural owl where the wings wrap around the wrist. Really a statement piece with the large scale lifelike design. I acquired this in France - it has great patina and organic wear. It has a neat sculpted design like a cast bronze type of detail.

My wrist is 5 1/2 inches and it's a little big for me. It is slightly adjustable as you can squeeze it but I would do so with caution and just the one time to get it fit your size, as I would imagine a piece of this age might break with repeated bending. The opening currently measures 2 inches wide by about 1.8 inches deep. If I wrap a tape measure around the outside it is 6 3/4 inches. From the top of the wings to bottom of the tail feathers is about 2.9 inches.

Any props or group shot items not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MARKS:

No hallmarks, silver plated, likely brass underneath.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Some patina and tarnish spots. Could likely be cleaned up but most of my buyers prefer original patina.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
