ABOUT:
An antique figural bow rose cut diamond set pin. The piece is crafted in 18k gold and topped in silver as was customary for the period to set diamonds in a white metal.

Besides pins, I’ve also seen these incorporated into neck stacks as extenders and charm holders as seen in photos where I used one of my chains with dog clips to hook to each end. It makes for an awesome amulet to add other meaningful charms. (Chain and other items are not included, listing is for pin alone).

Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

Couldn't find any hallmarks so I tested it for gold and the silver top is apparent.

MEASUREMENTS:
The piece measures 25x7mm and weighs 1.7 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Still perfectly wearable. The pin back has tension in its hinge. Typical antique rose cuts in closed back settings that have warmed from age. The diamonds are also typical in that they have some frosty spots and faint natural inclusions. It can teeter on a chain so adding the charms seems to help add weight to prop it upwards but it's as cute as can be. Tarnish to the silver but most of my buyers prefer antique patina.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
