ABOUT:

Current fav in the pendant department. I love the movement and 3D design. This antique early Victorian era pendant is crafted in 18k rose gold and silver. At the top is a curved and scalloped floral motif, from which dangles seven pointy fringe pieces. All sections of the pendant are encrusted with chunky old mine cut diamonds (and a few small rose cuts.). It's beautiful to wear with the independent pieces able to catch the light. There are 53 diamonds in all so it's just a really eye catching and unique piece with a great antique look.

The piece is in solid silver and backed in 18k rose gold, as was the common fabrication to set diamonds in a white metal but to back it in gold to prevent tarnish against the skin. The loops and connectors are also 18k gold so it has a two tone appearance with the beautiful patina of the silver and the warm 18k rose gold. At the top is an antique split ring in silver (another sought after component).

I got it in France. No hallmarks but tested. Perfect original patina.

Chain is not included. Please note the measurements as it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Feel free to request more photos as I have many others besides those allotted here.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

The pendant measures 39mm to the attached loop (not including split ring) by 21mm wide. It flares out to a depth of 10mm with the curved flower petal top.

The piece weighs 4.3 grams.

The largest diamonds on the top piece measure 2 to 2.5mm each for the most part with a few smaller ones on the ends. The fringes also have 2mm stones at the top graduating down to tiny 1mm chips at the tips. Not a single stone is missing.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Typical antique diamonds with irregular shapes, cuts, some rough or frosty edges and natural inclusions. These are things that we expect to see on a piece of this age. Absolutely all hand chiseled diamonds so intricately set and so many stones! They also have fabulous hues, some warm to yellow to even lemon lime green. Wonderful color and sparkle!
