ABOUT:

Awesome figural dangle earrings of a gloved hand holding a dangling floral wreath. The wrist and flowers are set with little turquoise. I love figural Victorian jewelry and these are such an interesting design, they would also make very interesting pendants but I did not want to alter them. They have ear wires that latch into a hook at the back.

From ancient Roman times through the sentimental Georgian and Victorian eras, hands have held many messages: loyalty, strength, romance and fidelity, affection, friendship and even betrothal.

I acquired these antique earrings in Paris. They are stamped with the French hallmark for 14k gold.

Antique box used for staging is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

They dangle 37mm from top of ear wire to bottom of wreath by 12mm at the widest part of the wreath. Combined weight is 3.8grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

As with all my pieces these are pre-owned and in estate condition. No major noticeable condition issues, aside from surface wear and some adhesive build up around the turquoise. Not really noticeable while wearing or visible to the eye. They have held their shape very well and seem in better than most condition. Nice patina and glowing shine. But as with all my pre-owned pieces - Please note this is not a mint condition item.
