ABOUT:
Awesome shimmer and shine to this French vintage omega chain. Shorter length at 16 inches. Fun to layer but sparkles and shines worn alone. Sturdy weight of over 14 grams.

The chain is about 2.3mm wide by 1.6mm deep, rounding nicely off the decollette. It has a push button clasp that nests into the back with a hinge on each side so that it can curve down the neck. It also has a very secure safety latch.

Found in France, with their 18k hallmark as well as a 750 hallmark, the numerical hallmark used in Europe for 18k gold.

Props, bannisters, mice, ; ) other items not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

A slight curve here or there but nothing glaring or noticeable while wearing. The clasp has a little trick to it, when you first insert the tongue of the clasp into the other side, it doesn't seem to snap, but then when you lightly press the receiving side it clicks into place so that you have to use the push button to open it. The safety latch is also very secure and snaps shut so even if it doesn't click into place, it is not in danger of falling off with that tight latch.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
