ABOUT:

Wonderful French regional antique dangle earrings in rich 18k gold with a teardrop design with a ball rivet detailing. In the center of each earring on its own independent dangle is a figural flower. This matches the flower at the top of the earring connecting to the ear wire.

These earrings are a nice size and have a great antique look, like something you would see in a period movie.

Antique box is not included, I wanted to sell them in an antique box but they were too large for all the earring boxes I have so they will come in a new box.

HALLMARKS:

These each have the French hallmark for 18k gold and a partial goldsmith stamp.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

They are a nice size, measuring 42mm from the top of the wire to the curved bottom and 16mm wide at the widest part of the base. The pair weighs 2.8 grams combined. They have vacant space inside the stamped fronts and the flat backs.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

As with all my pieces these are pre-owned and in estate condition. Beautiful rich patina. Surface wear and scratches and age related wear to the gold. A very shallow tiny ripple impression here or there and some scratches where the flower hits and can rub against the swooped rounded part. Overall - stable and ready to wear and still nicely shaped. The gold and design is beautiful and it is a very sweet pair. But as with all my pre-owned pieces - Please note this is not a mint condition item.

There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings.
