ABOUT:

French Vintage to Art Deco aquamarine gypsy band ring with rich and warm 18k gold set with a pale blue aquamarine.

Gypsy bands are always among my most popular items in the shop and this is the first time I have found one with an aquamarine. Fun we wear and stack with a nice pop of color.

I purchased this in the French Riviera on a recent sourcing trip so I've included some pics of it by the sea as that is part of its story.

HALLMARKS:
French hallmark for 18k Gold.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6 3/4. It is 6.5mm north south and 5.4mm tall off the finger. Weighs 4 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Some surface wear and abrasions to the facets. It also has one linear chip that looks like a crevice. These things are slightly eye visible but the stone does not appear dull. It has a nice color, antique patina to the gold. There is a gradual impression inside the shank not visible while wearing.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
