ABOUT:

It's a three stone, it's a gypsy, it's chunky and it glows! The three natural sapphires are tall sugarloaf cuts, the center being a gorgeous lilac pink color flanked by blue sapphires on each side.

Open back with a floral shaped cutout behind the center stone.

Timeless design, I'm not sure when it was made, but at least vintage to potentially antique. These settings seem to go on and on in popularity.

Eye catching size and form that adds a fun shape and color to a ring stack. Chunky and sturdy piece.

Found in Paris. French hallmark or 18k gold with a goldsmith stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size: 6 1/4, a little over - questions about sizing are best asked to your local jeweler who would be doing the work. Usually they say within 2 sizes is a good guide but opinions vary when it comes to modern jewelers comfort level working on antiques. Sometimes a quick call and texted / emailed photo can be helpful.

Ring face is 9.5mm north to south and stands 6mm tall off the finger with the highly domed sugarloaf.
The piece weighs a sturdy 7.3g. The sapphires are 5mm and 3.5mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Often times we see these with heavily worn stones because they crop out so far that they can catch on things. The stones on this one are excellent with a glossy sheen and amazing color. The center one has one fleabite nibble, not visible to my eyes which are in their forties : ) and the inner glow helps mask it. Seen mostly under magnification. No real notable damage.

There are no dark (or green or colored) spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings including trees outside the window : ).

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
