ABOUT:

Another vintage ring, this one has a great retro vibe and lots of fun color and sparkle. I usually go for older pieces but sometimes I come across these vintage ones and just buy what I like and would wear so I snagged this one from my partners in France.

At the center is a rectangular cut sapphire (I believe it is synthetic and selling it as such but it is a sapphire and not glass), flanked by two natural emeralds and six brilliant cut natural diamonds.

A tapering linear look with the blue green colors along with the sparkle so it is fun to layer with other piece.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k and a goldsmith stamp.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7 1/4 a little over. The ring face 9.5mm north south. It is 5mm tall off the finger.
It weighs 4.35 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
One of the emeralds has nibbles to the outside edge, likely the result of inclusions carrying up to the surface. Not really eye visible, it still appears complete. The sapphire is in great condition with just the tiniest flea bites to the table facet but to the eye a pretty perfect sheen and polish with a gorgeous blue color with a hint of green to it. No damage to any diamonds either.

The shank is oval, there is evidence of a sizing to the back so it kind of thins out a bit and is slightly out of round there. Not noticeable while wearing and if someone were to have the ring sized, that would be remedied anyway.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
